Bromsgrove School Orchestra
James McKelvey, conductor
Will give a free lunch concert.
Bromsgrove School has a local and national reputation for Music. Its musical provision is based on a philosophy of ‘music for all’ and looks to embrace all musical styles and combinations to allow each student at school to find their voice and achieve their full musical potential. The Music Department is situated at the heart of the school with large teaching spaces and individual practice rooms surrounding a 300-seater Concert Hall. Frequent performances take place there, as well as further afield including around the Worcestershire county, and in Birmingham, London and abroad. Many students in the Orchestra today are Music Scholars, some are studying GCSE or A Level Music and intending to make Music their career; for others, Music is already a hobby which they intend to enjoy for life. What is central to the students represented here is their tangible love of Music and we look forward to performing here whilst on tour to make wonderful memories of their time at Bromsgrove School.
