Public Lecture by Archbishop Thabo Makgoba
On the 3rd of June at 19:00, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, Thabo Makgoba, will present a public lecture in church, entitled: “Troubled Times. Can we be surprised by hope again?” During this event, the publication Voices of Hope (Amsterdam University Press) will be launched. Everyone is warmly invited to join the lecture followed by a reception at the Lutheran Church across the Spui. We would also very much appreciate a few more hands to help us set everything up on the day.
