The choir of Wyvern St. Edmunds Academy
Musical Director: Petra Randall
Accompanist: Ute Schwarting
Wyvern St. Edmunds is a large mixed secondary school in Salisbury, Wiltshire in the UK and the choirs are part of its thriving music department. There are four choirs: Main Choir is a non-auditioned choir open to anyone, Chamber Choir is auditioned, and Consort and Mixed Voices are by invitation only. All four choirs perform a wide range of music including both sacred and secular, folk music, musical theatre pop and jazz.
The choirs regularly perform in school concerts and events as well as further afield in the city churches and the famous Salisbury Cathedral. Last year they won their class in the Midsomerset Music Festival in the city of Bath.
The choir is delighted to be on tour in the Netherlands in March 2026, performing at the English Reformed Church in Amsterdam.
